IES5505 IES5515 simple 2-wire bus buffer / repeater

The IES5505 (4mA) and IES5515 (30mA) are monolithic CMOS integrated circuits designed for applications where a full-featured bus buffer is not required. Their simple characteristics are suitable for quick implementation in most two-wire bus applications.

Maximum static pull-down capability of 4mA for IES5505 and 30mA for IES5515 Increased bus capacitance with IES5515 on a standard 2-wire bus Operating voltages from 2.7V to 5.5V Operation in excess of 1MHz possible with fast switching times (IES5515) Support I²C Standard mode, Fast mode, Fast mode plus Fm+ (IES5515 only), SMBus (standard and high power mode) and PMBus standards Chip Enable allows bus segment disconnection Available in SO-8 and MSOP-8 package
